pre eld motor

That motor is a good build if done right. Accerts had good blocks and cranks. Take all the EPA junk off, throw on a pre 99 ecm with a good tune and it's a great motor. Is it legal and will it pass inspection is another story. If it has a pre 99 ecm the dot will probably be non the wiser but the VIN number on the truck will not show it as a glider

 

The guys I know apparently all have the same vin sticker too.

 

Can't believe people are willing to piss away tens of thousands of dollars buying old junk or repower trucks with old engines. All in the name of trying to avoid an elog. Lmfao.

All so then can run for less then 1/2 of what that should be charging.

 

I should be charging 5 to 6 bucks a mile? You should start your own brokerage, you'll never have trouble moving freight with that outlook.

 

LMAo. I am switching trucks today, so I can run more than 8 days a month, I guess I should inform them they should start paying me 8.50 a mile or so tomorrow.

 

I think it is more about giving up more liberties and privacy as an O/O.
