I don't know really. Oklahoma seems so strange I sometimes ask myself if I'm even in the Milky Way galaxy!

No snow here in Lawton. Rain and thunder this morning though.

Company needs drivers badly over Christmas. I replied: Christmas is not an issue.
They not only got me home for Christmas. They got me home twice for Christmas. At 9pm on Christmas Eve. I was drop and hooking to go back home, at the terminal. Nobody in the office to give me my paperwork. I asked 5 drivers in the break room for help. We broke into the office and “stole” my paperwork. Great guys! I was home again at 5am Christmas morning.
Noticed the few cars out that night. Most were speeding. Driving dangerous. Cops definitely out stopping them.

I don’t care about freezing. My temp gauge lets me know how much below zero I have to face when getting out.

I put telteck thermometers in all my older trucks.
The company truck I drove the last few weeks had both a factory and a telteck. I switched it out today and now just have a telteck again, it flashes ice when it hits freezing.
It is always freezing here in winter, I need to know the temps, so I know if I need to chain up or not when I get to the bigger grades.
