I saw that on Facebook when my buddy posted it the other day...I replied to his post ------>> "I bet the driver doesn't even speak English"...

Ok, perhaps, but even an ultimate doofus would slow down in fog. Now, my question, did these things go on years ago, we just never saw them? I mean, I trucked in a time where you respected the weather, not ignored it. And it's only New Years!!! I also saw on the Weather Channel, big ice storm in the upper midwest, over FIVE HUNDRED (500) REPORTED accidents, Terrible.

To some extent they did go on, but not like we are seeing now...

It gets back to my reply in another thread regarding one of the recent big pileups on 80 in the Keystone.. These aren't truck drivers they are steering wheel holders. This is what you get when you dumb the industry down to a point where anyone that can push the D button, release the brakes, and can follow a GPS in a big truck..

Well to have to put your phone, your 96 ounce Pepsi, nachos, joint, down and pay attention to what you're doing is fairly inhumane in modern society. And I'm a little disappointed that all of you would want to impose such conditions on someone.

The movie "Idiocracy" is fast becoming a reality, society is getting more stupid, not smarter.
