Flexeril (muscle relaxer)

    I have a quick question...

    I start school on Monday, which means drug test on Monday. No biggie, BUT, every now and then I have some hellacious back pain...rarely. I am prescribed Flexeril, a muscle relaxer, for it, and wouldn't you know it, my back is killing me today. My question is, does anyone know if I would be screwing myself over by taking it? Will I fail the drug test and screw all this up for myself? Would I be better off just not taking it or is it ok to take since I won't be on the road yet and its prescribed?

    they're not going to test for or find cyclobenzaprine. But I wouldn't try to drive on it all day either. The drowsiness is pronounced particularly when it starts to wear off.

    Anything that causes drowsiness you don't even want to get caught with in the truck. I agree with MM71...try naproxen.
