Just stay out of bad neighbourhoods and you'll be fine. Honestly I'm more worried about wildlife than I am about being randomly attacked.

 

Did you take the Trans Canada highway?

 

If you get to Vancouver, a trip to Vancouver Island is an option. Victoria is very nice in the summer, Port Alberni great scenery & Macleans Mill with logging equipment(Off Hiway trks, etc) then carry on to Tofino on the west coast(beautiful beaches). Just another idea plus a nice ferry ride.

 

Ya know, spent the first half of my life in BC. Travelled most of the province in that time and I have yet to set foot on the island.

Guess I am spending another week in Florida- working for the army next week
