Trucks use CSA and MVR together from my understanding. But I'm also not familiar with how trucking insurance works and how they use CSA to determine insurance pricing

    Stress is self induced.
    Solve the problem.
Don't speculate about the "what if's"

I don't know how insurance would find out if it's not on your mvr.

I don't need to give you negative feedback, you admitted to your mistake.
Inattentive driving is a very serious offense.
    What's done is done.
More important you don't do it again.
    Good luck

    Truckerbrezze Thanks this.

A warning can't be Data-q'ed. I have tried. That's why they give the warnings. So it shows up on a report somewhere that dinks the company.

You most certainly can DataQ a warning on an inspection. You can because what the state inspector says is a warning is not recognized by the FMCSA as a warning. It is recognized as a violation, as to them there is no such thing as a warning and violations can be challenged. The problem with DataQ and challenging any violation is that if you can’t prove the violation didn’t exist, it’s not a duplicate or it’s not recorded in error, you lose the challenge.

A warning is just as bad as a ticket , you can't fight it and it stays on you and your company's record.

The warning was not for the inspection. The warning was for speeding. Sure you can challenge the inspection, but no citation was issued for the speeding.

Then if he was issued a warning “ticket” or what is referred to as a “soft ticket” it’s no big deal, it counts for and against nothing.

if the insurance company demands that you be cut loose, say good bye to a good job. you are definately gonna be haunted by this for the next 3 years.

you "might" still get a job, just don;t expect it to be all peaches and cream.

i went out yesterday and bought me a new UHD-TV...had to break it in, for several hours, watching it......

    he's lucky i wasn't here earlier....

    did i do ok...???

I see a very dangerous lack of respect from the OP
In 3 years he has become a steering wheel holder not a driver.

Cruise set, zoning to his music. Not paying attention to his surroundings..
    Accident waiting to happen.
