Here’s one I’d be proud to drive. It’s got “workhorse” written all over it.

I like real trucks:
No sleepers, no plastic. -
Hard to pick just one
Kenworth t800 with the 2 piece flat glass windshield with cab side exhaust.
Kenworth t600 with cab side exhaust.
Freightliner fld120 with full bottom fairings. -
My favorite are Pete 379's because thats what i learned on and what im used to. Ive jumped in quite a few other trucks (all older) but i dont like them because im not used to them. I also like the way the clutch falls to the floor on the 379's. A lot of other trucks ive hopped into the clutch rises up and im not used to it.
We've got 3 48" flat top Petes and 4 Daycabs. Haul mostly flatbeds so the flattops are perfect. I love them -
my favorite truck, was one that was fueled up, in good running condition, and ready to rock and roll.
i cared less the name, size of engine, power windows, or colors.
it was a truck, a work horse some would say, nothing more, nothing less. -
Those are my all time favorite looking trucks, except I like the looks of a flat top over the aerodine.
That said and even though I put a ton of miles on a models over the years, they are far from my favorite driving truck these days.
I guess mine would be a W9L, but even then not just any W9l, as I just made a couple of trips in one, and some more trips in a newer style one and neither hold a candle, to mine. The 2006 rides close enough, but is cheesy built compared to mine, and not as good insulation wise, not even close when were talking power.
The 99 I drove was even worse as far as insulation, the N14 was closer to power, and not built cheesy, but was too short and different suspension, so not as good of a ride.
The ride at my age makes a lot more difference than it used too. lol
The newer one also has a different brand steering box that doesn't turn near as easy when it gets cold either, infact they downright suck for this area..
All that said I have driven freightshakers that were nice, same with petes and stars too.
I guess my favorite is any truck that will get me there and back consistently, has enough power to do the job at hand and doesn't beat me up while doing it.
