On the Volvo there actually called "driving lights" The factory halogen lights suck so bad. At night its driving with no lights. That's why they have the "driving/fog lights" on. What I and a couple other drivers I no did was. Qe purchased and installed after market led lights.
Front bumper ideas?

Unfortunately I think it is far more than a couple of other drivers

we run ex guards.. they are beefy and will take deer hits with ease.

Volvo has a nice stainless bumper (made by hendrickson) as an option. I know there are aftermarket replacements available.
If you want a good tube bumper, magnum makes a nice piece that mounts to the tow hook receivers like the one above. I hit several deer with mine, and finally replaced it with a full moose bumper (in my profile pic) after the last deer tweaked it. (She was big, and I was doing 70 mph with the foot in it) It weighs 100 lbs, tilts down to open the hood, and installs in minutes. I think they are around $1200
That photo of my parts was taken after the deer hit. As you can see, it can take a beating and still looks good. -
No you have that backwards. What I and a couple other drivers I NO did. Was purchase and install after market led head lights. These replaced the existing factory installed poor lightning. Hence we have no need to use running or other bothersome to drivers lights.
But I do agree with the original poster who was talking about those inconsiderate bothersome drivers. Who drive around with thier fog/driving lights on. -
Actually I didn't. I cant stand the glare of these LED headlights coming at me at night, especially when it is raining. Been working nights most of my life and never had a problem with it up until now. Something I just have to get used to I guess as it is the way of the future. I'm hoping someday they can make then without the awful glare but I think that is just the nature of LED lighting.

I never get complaints on the cb, or guys blinking the brights at me. However if it's me than I apologize. I hate those high powered lights (especially the blue ones). Not sure what I dislike most, when there coming at me. Or when there in my mirror.
-
Well no need to apologize. I think most vehicles on the road will be LED before long and our eyes do become more sensitive the older you get. One thing I did notice is some of the new F series Ford pickups come equipped with them new but the tint almost looks like a standard halogen headlight. Its the real ultra bright white aftermarket ones or I think daylight tint its called are the ones that really blind you. Did you notice poor radio reception after you installed them when the lights are on? I've heard of people having to install filters

I didn't notice any change in the radio. Although 80% of the time I have my xm radio. 10% I have a book on tape, and the other 10% I'm listening to the voices in my head.
