Superior Carriers & Henniff

I honestly have no idea why he received his pay on time, but he said he did.... he has nothing to gain from lying, and neither do I. We're all on here for the same reason.... to try and figure out what's going on, and what the future holds. Management isn't going to give us the heads up about anything, so it's up to us to figure it out.... I'm definitely not on here looking for an argument, that in my mind would be silly..... Anyway

 

Who is the health insurance provider for Heniff?

 

how do you do that run with a student? Do you go to a hotel with truck parking for student? I only had one 'over night trip' when I started. It was pretty much, down to one terminal, go to hotel, then come back the next day. It was only from High Point to Morrow, so not a far trip.

 

yeah, I noticed that on Friday. I was put on a load(no appointment time) on Thursday. Was told I'd get one next day. come 1900 call log ops, only to NOT be told by Pedricktown dispatch(when I just asked them about load time) load was cancelled. I saw the note on the door, in the driver's lounge, from the terminal manager saying, very brief, after 24 years with Superior, I have decided to move on. Wonder if that terminal will move over to Bensalem? I unloaded there on Friday, 2 blocks from that Qualawash(which is alot nicer than Pedricktown). Saw more Heniff trailers there at Bensalem, than the one in Pedricktown.

 

no they didn't! Talked with Walt on friday about a load that I was to bring to High Point, that got cancelled, and he said he didn't get his check on Friday, either. Said he got an email about it, and we'd get paid today(tuesday).

 

Guess Brian Nowak is gone as of yesterday along with someone else.... didn't catch the name. I have a feeling things are going to move much quicker than I expected

 

Yep, I let student drive his 11 hours or so, then after his 14 is up we get a hotel to take our 10 hour break

 

Heniff strikes me as a very aggressive company, I’m not surprise he’s gone, although I hate to hear that. I’ve met and spoken to Brian on several different occasions, real solid guy I wish him and his family best of luck

 

Agreed.... Same here, he came across as a really decent, down to earth guy..... not someone I'd envision as a typical corporate president. That's one thing I always liked about Superior, those who I've met seemed to be more easy going and down to earth, and not high strung jerks.... Anyway, I do believe you're right about Heniff being aggressive, not sure that's good for the future of the company, seems reckless

 

Did Heniff actually buy Superior, or did Olympus Partners buy Heniff and Superior?

My manager said those who bank with PNC got paid on time.
