I've heard one of the new night drivers they hired backed out.

I’m getting emails every day from these guys to come drive for them which, of course, is a red flag.
I am curious though; I live pretty close to Greensboro. Do they have local runs and if so, how is the pay?

I’m presuming you’ll start Thursday night provided you’re through with orientation. You’ll be getting off Sunday morning as I’m coming in. Introduce yourself. You’re about to start the graviest of all gravy trains lol

 

the pay isn't that great, locally. Most drivers I ran into that got on with Epes locally, ended up making no money until they got suckered into OTR. Another 'point in case', if they are sending you tons of emails, and they DO have a recruiting dept, that says they only care about putting a body in a truck. ANY company that has a full recruitment staff are the ones to stay away from!
