I think the Govt's efforts against alcohol has created a generation of truckers unable to maintain bearing around strong drink. =) /sarc

 

Still, refusal to submit to a breathalyzer being equivalent to a an admission of guilt is bogus.

Suspension is not revocation either.

When a cop scoops a guy out of a wreck with falsified logs and clear evidence of negligent driving they still need to be able to make a case. Not rely on "here take a breathalyzer or admit to guilt."

Lazy police work leads to lack of justice.

 

If you refuse a breathlyzer they give you a blood test if you refuse that it is an admission of guilt.

 

And what's to stop the cop from falsely claiming that you refused the blood test as well?

I dont think the cop needs to worry about falsifying for the idjut. Laying the truck over with an open beer can seen in the cab doesnt take a rocket scientist (as well as smell of alcohol on breath) to figure out if the driver was OUI/DWI

The cop was being polite and giving the driver the benefit of doubt. Yet billigerance doesnt mean sober or intelligent
