Do you mean it plugs up quickly?
To me the most likely answer is you've got contamination in your tanks. I could ask if you've cut the filter apart to see what is causing it to clog up, but I'll bet the answer is no. -

is it hardish black pieces. if so my money is on fuel lines from tanks. the 14l 60 series detroit's in freightliners are known for that too.
-
Which fuel filter, the one with the clear dome or the one on the engine?
kemosabi49 Thanks this. -
Clear dome with the fleet guard in there

I was inform Bio Fuel from loves in winter.
We go through filters faster in winter, and pretty much use Loves. -
The lines that go into the tanks themselves or inside my tanks
-
tank to fuel pump. check the rubber/metal braided hoses

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it's normal for the fuel filter to rise more quickly in the winter. I think it's wax. Think it has something to do with the fuel not being "winter blend". This is what another truck driver told me years ago.
O.Henry Thanks this.
