Almost got" roadblock" because I would slow down for construction zones then forget to speed back up.

I think some of the best handles are the ones that really describe the polar opposite of the individual's personality. Take me, for example. My name is "stud", and certainly not for what that name suggests, lol; just the opposite. I hung around a shifty bunch when I was younger and these guys would make a game out of pokin' anything that walked. I'm no saint, just was/am a one gal guy. That name took no time to stick.

I like those too because I appreciate sarcasm. But some folks are hard because they dont have extreme personalities. Someone needs to be way left field in one way before the far right field name works.

I had a fake CB handle I used for awhile.
Purchased a "voice synthesizer" that fit over the CB radio mic.
If I turned it on, It changed my voice to sound like a sultry woman.
When I was doing that, my CB handle was "Tri-sexual Girl."
That handle was a teaser for sure.

    TravR1 Thanks this.

One of my heroes on TTR, @OLDSKOOLERnWV, was named “Captain Redbeard,” by the waitresses he met in one of his favorite restaurants. They talked about him, didn’t know his name and just started calling him Captain Redbeard in conversation.

That actually is a sign of greatness in a Man.

EDIT: BTW, having a road name is not just limited to to CB usage. If you or your truck become well known in anything, you will be given a road name.

“Big Joe” is a road name.

Anybody you run across with the name “Tiny” will be at least 400 lbs.

In the early 70's my brother and I used to go with my dad OTR. We were sitting at a truck stop and my brother was goofing around on the CB talking like a girl. A guy came back on and said "darling when you are finished with that meat that's in your mouth let me know and I will be right over" from that moment on my dad and I called my brother Donna. His name is Don.
