I saw a futuristic movie where a janitor saved the world. He was buffing the floors with an electric buffer and accidently hit the wall and unplugged the extension cord going to the robots.

Back in the early 80's one of my neighbors was the president of the San Francisco Longshoreman's union. Nice guy, but the kind of person that when you shook hands with him you counted your fingers after the shake. I went into his garage one time and it was like a toy store of stolen merchandise. He had a full case of solid gold Rolex presidential watches. Not the fake Chinese knockoffs, the real ones. He has dozens of cases of very expensive wines, fresh meats and seafood delivered to his house daily. TV's, stereos, just about anything imaginable. All of it stolen from trucks and shipping containers by his union members. He wasn't shy about showing it all off, in fact he was proud of it. Knowing him left a permanent bad taste in my mouth regarding unions.
