I noticed a lot of construction at the casino as I passed by so not sure if that would effect parking there right now or not.

 

Im still seeing bunch of trucks there on Monday mornings when I roll into Memphis. So there is still parking but idk if the construction has cut into the amount or not.

 

I felt like I needed to douse myself in bleach or Lysol after being in that Citgo.

 

I made a point of looking for that parking on the way out of Memphis. I saw quite a few trucks back there. On Truckers Path it seems to be marked as a gravel lot. Sound right?

 

I hate to jinx myself but my backing has gotten so much better than day 1. Took me about 10 months to really focus on my tandems. Also big shoutout to SJ for pounding into me that sliding tandems to rear makes for easier backing most of the time.

We probably passed each other somewhere on 55 sometime today. I started in Edgerton, parking in Osceola due to hours. This little TS is much nicer than the one down the road in Jericho.

I'm sad. My little spree of hauling around Mark Anthony products is coming to a close for now.

 

No I beat feet north and delivered yesterday morning. I stayed on I55 Thorntons in Lincoln, IL Sunday night and left there around 4:30 am for La Crosse.

I am on my way to Trenton now. Back down in Illinois on I39 in Rochelle. Take this way and across 74 to Indy to avoid all the Chicago crap and I65 between Gary and Indianapolis. Keen turned me on to this route and it is far more pleasant, way less traffic and nonsense. Don't have cars cutting in front of me every 10 feet etc...

 

That Thorntons was my fuel stop today. Was a little confused when I couldn't find the Pilot I was supposed to fuel at, turns out it's a Thorntons lol

 

Yeah I was confused too because when I looked at truckers path there was not a Pilot there. I then searched the Pilot app and figured out it was Thorntons with Pilot fuel. It was my fuel stop both ways. Decided to pull the plug for the night there going north because I wanted some Cracker Barrel across the street.
