Funny things you have seen at truckstops

I can't tell you just how much I have enjoyed this thread.
I want to hear some more of them truck driving lies! Tell me about cheating on your logs, the times when you called the Federal Marshalls to the scales, how you outsmarted the DOT inspectors at a checkpoint, all the dispatchers you've cussed out, how far you drove while taking them little white pills, all the waitresses that you've charmed and last but not least how fast your truck will go!!!

No, just reminiscing over some of the outlandish stories I've heard in the truck stops and over the CB in years past.

 

No way. Trolls don't reference some of the best songs ever written.

 

The real scary thing is it wasn't that darn long ago.

 

And nobody wore seatbelts, and nobody sat in the left lane for long because a truck going 95 would soon be approaching. 55mph? Haha.

 

Seatbelts and staying out of the left lane was common, but 95 mph trucks was just as rare then as they are today. The laws of physics haven't changed. Speed takes gearing and the vast majority of those fools making high speed claims were running single over drive transmissions and 3.55 rears.
