Yes sir. That's what I meant. I suppose my reply did make it sound like the Petro was demo'd but that certainly wasn't what I made a feable attempt to say.
Thanks for clearing up the mud.
@'olhand That was a great diner, really good food.Oldironfan and x1Heavy Thank this. -
Just passed the boarded up Nara Vista Truck Terminal a few minutes ago. Only been trucking for the past 4 years since I did my 20 and retired from the Marines. I sure would've loved to see the old places. I prefer mom and pop places because they're generally more quiet. I still love to stop at the TTT and get Omar's apple pie ala mode.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
Does anyone remember the old Route 50 truck stop outside of Grafton near Fellowsville, WV
-
Some of the best ones I can remember were:
1. Zinn's diner (big Amos), Denver, Pa
2. Dysarts, Bangor, ME
3. Ranch diner, Rte 22, Branchburg, NJ
4. A steakhouse (can't recall the name) off I-17, Black Canyon City, AZ
5. Goodale's diner, off 84 at the MA/CT state line
6. Miss Monticello diner, off Rte 17, Monticello, NY -
