i think quite a few people go thru something bad, before something good comes thier way.

it is a learning process, but in the o/p's case, he could not afford the hardship(s).

this will make him wiser for the next go-around on the job Merry-Go-Round.

wouldn't surprise me one bit if a local/city job is open and he just hasn't walked in the right door yet.

Don’t judge the whole industry by the likes of Pam. They’re scum.

If you’re in MI, we have terminals in Battle Creek, Detroit, and Grayling. You can do better than Pam.

Screw that, If you need to be close to home and you can't find any local driving jobs then go pound some nails (construction in general).

There's so much construction work out there right now, if you're willing, just show up in person ready to go at a few job sites and I'll bet you can find work in a day.

You're giving up because PAM boned you? That's akin to changing your sexual preference because the ugly fat girl in school wouldn't go to prom with you.

There are good livings that can be made in this industry, and you don't even need to go OTR or have years of experience to obtain them. This is a driver's market, and for the most part, your biggest hurdles consist of passing a road test and drug screen.

Hopefully, you have the T/X endorsements on your license. If not, try to make a point to get them when you are able to afford to at some point.
