Is trucking boring and lonely?

I am glad to see I am not the only one to do that stupid stuff. Set the cruise get down on floor and grab stuff out of the fridge. Every time I did it, I would wait for guys to start yelling on the CB that the truck they just passed had no driver.

Ok... I will admit that there were a couple times that I left my cigarettes in the bunk... I usually use a long back scratcher to fish them forward... Then when I feel they are in arms lengths... I'll grab em.

 

geezus, y'all better have gotten a 3 axle alignment pretty recent to do #### like that.

 

Man, oh man! I'm glad I grab all my stuff before I start driving! Now if I'd just leave that really good book in the sleeper instead of on the dash ! What can I say, traffic gets boring. Especially around road destruction zones.

 

You keep your left hand on the steering wheel and grab stuff out of the fridge with your right if your fridge is on the right side of truck.

Yeah, I use an ice chest full of goodies right next to my seat. I have been known to reach for something and find myself driving on the zipper.

 

Dang it driver you need a pot of coffee with cookies... gotta make that while I am back there...
