Hello,
Republic services is hosting a hiring event near me, Saint Augustine Florida. I am wondering if anyone can give me some insight or working for them! Also can you just walk-in and do front load or roll off? I really wanna do roll off but without roll off experience you can’t seem to get hired. If not, about how long would it take to get into one of these positions. Thank you

It’s between republic, advanced disposal and WM but WM told me no because I didn’t have 12 months experience.

 

Gotcha, lol it looks like advanced disposal hires out of temp agencies. You can apply with them but when I look on indeed or so they’re hiring for them, I’m wondering if they do that to see how you work before they hire you, but I believe it’s only as a helper not a driver, and for $10 an hour I’m not throwing trash all day. Lol

There is only one. I live in a rural area. It’s about an hour to get any major city. And the town that is advertising on indeed is I think $13.50 an hour. The other counties use WM, Advanced, WCA, etc.
