I have a 2013 volvo with a d13, after reading about my problem, long cranking before starting then idling like air is in the line before clearing up. I changed the check valves, filter Housing, and double checked filters to make sure no double o rings. Finally took to volvo repair shop and after diagnosis, said it was the injectors and cups, after replacing they said hard start, needed new water separator, after that hard start, so they said injector job wasn't done correctly, tonight they called with good news and bad news, they said they redid injectors job now done right, but bad news is that my plungers were bad?? My question is, could they have damaged my plungers with a shady injector job?

Hi guys I need help,I have volvo d13 2016 in 365.000 km ,in October the dealer changed all my injectors cause I got hard started stopped the engine for fuel and after was longer cracking couple of times, after replacing the injectors I got my fuel mileage increased. Two weeks ago a took the truck for DPF cleaning, the mechanic told me the truck is smoking badly with DPF removed at the flex pipe so I shoved the video to dealer and told me to go back. So today the replaced my boost sensor telling me everything is ok but they did not take apart the flex pipe to visually check.I ask them to do a cylinder balance test, test came back cylinder 1 +15%,number 2 +12 %,cylinder 3 +9%,cylinder 4 is -46%!!,cylinder 5 is -4%,cylinder 6 +12%.Now they are telling me number 4 is still in the spec and is not at 80% and not willing to change it cause if not fels warranty will not pay them.I left the truck there to re do a valve adjustment and reenter the injectors spec and recalibrate them. Just need advice what to do cause this is not sounds ok to me.Need to mention I have extended warranty when I purchased this truck new.
