1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

Shaffer is hiring drivers in Ga. but I'm not sure why. They don't have a whole lot of freight there any more.

Anyone know anything about Kennesaw Transportation Inc? The website is rather vague and I was looking for who they hire, how they run, miles, ect. Are they good to drive for? If anyone has any inside handle on the company please let me know. Thanks guys. Thank you for such a good thread on local companies. There are lots of ltl guys out of Lathonia if anyone is near east Atl. as well as a big Swifty terminal :biggrin_25520:. Be safe everyone. Thanks again.

I have a friend who's been at Kennesaw for 4 years. They don't hire with less than 3 years experience. They have really nice peterbuilts and a well maintaned fleet. Roughly 400 trucks, 300 teams, 100 solo's. If you can get on with them, they're a pretty good outfit to run for. Start at .31, good benefits, not bad on miles most of the time.
