Hello.
I have 2014 international maxxforce 13. I have the following codes active
SPN-3251 2
SPN-3719 16
I had the same problem two months ago took to the dealer. They cleaned the dpf and installed a new dpf sensor. Now I have the same problem again and it is saying to shut the engine off on the dash board. I am planning to go to dealer tomorrow. I just want to get a basic idea what could be the main problem. I didn't have any egr codes or any other codes or the engine light on or derrating.
Could be the differential sensor causing the dpf to not regen because before this I was driving two hours before I saw high temp dpf light on dash when I stopped. I thought it was just regening. Two hours later when I dropped the trailer I saw high temp dpf still own. So I shut the truck off and when restarted it the dpf light was flashing and the engine light was on. So I started parked regen and after a while it said to shut the engine off.
It is cold here around -20c. Any suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks

Wow somehow maxxforce has healed itself. May be force was with maxx this time.
Anyways I had let the truck run for awhile with beeping sound and dash saying shut engine off. I was looking at my elog for engine codes. That's when I saw intermittent ( it was constant before) beside the dpf differential pressure sensor and then dpf light was flashing so I pressed the parked regen switch. It run for about 45 mins then flashing dpf light came to solid light and the dpf light came off when done regen.
I thought for a level 2 soot build up you need a computer to connect to get the code off.
I dont know if I am right but I think my main problem dpfdp sensor wiring. If there were problems with wiring for dpfdp sonsor wouldn't it throw some kind of codes before the regen?
