It’s one heck of a recreational drug ...

 

So I had a coaching trip today with the big boss. I passed it, which was good so I'm good for another 6 months. Heavy route today too, 1023 cases for 20,600.

The big boss said I was one of the heavier routes that left the yard today.

 

Haha, it’s policy they have to do a trip every 6months the bosses boss holds them to that. He was just doing his job.

You guys in LTL probably don’t get coaching trips do you?

 

At FxF everyone gets one after the first 60 days in the job, then I think that’s it.

 

Really? Coming up on 2 years and have yet to have a coaching trip.

 

next you're going to tell us that you actually got training???????? (other than the usual "here's the keys")

 

Well your managers are way behind then lol. They’ve all been out doing everyone at our yard. The ATMs get graded on it by the company. It’s supposed to be one every 6 months.

In Florida back in 2016 they we’re doing coaching trips like every 6 weeks now I don’t know if that’s still going on. I think that got some resistance from ground level management.

 

And everyone wonders why I went back to Chain LOL
