I did not read all the posts, just the first few on the first page.
The problem in that whole "training" setup is, training is NOT team driving or vice versa.
How can a student be trained, when either the trainer or student is asleep?
Go and find companies, where the the trainer is IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND ON DUTY while the student is performing his/her daily tasks.
I was trained that way when I came to Canada. And as far as I know, the company still holds on to that method.

Trinitrotoluene (/ˌtraɪˌnaɪtroʊˈtɒljuiːn/;[4][5] TNT), or more specifically 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene, is a chemical compound with the formula C6H2(NO2)3CH3. This yellow solid is sometimes used as a reagent in chemical synthesis, but it is best known as an explosive material with convenient handling properties. The explosive yield of TNT is considered to be the standard measure of bombs and the power of explosives. In chemistry, TNT is used to generate charge transfer salts.Sirscrapntruckalot, MGE Dawn, baha and 5 others Thank this.

I've heard two of these acronyms : TNT trainer and trainee and PSD prime student driver
I could be wrong but it seems like the PSD portion is used to train a permit holder to get their Cdl and then the TNT portion is like on the job training for xx amount of miles before getting your own truckbaha Thanks this. -
People also drive a lot longer than during training without hitting anything, no sympathy here. No difference between the tractor or the trailer, if it would have been a person they would still be dead. When your behind the wheel it is up to you to keep you, the equipment, and everything around you safe, period. As far as Prime I have known several that have worked there, I don't recomend them much but I do know 2 guys that leased, payed off the lease and kept the tractor.
As far as the other driver trainer or not using your hours, if you use them he can't. Maybe you should have driven more. All you have to do is call in while hes actually driving on your clock and it would have ended. Or ask for a new trainer.
