I gave reg codes with a 550hp stock tune. Any idea what a stage one and manifold will put me at without a bully dog or PDI
Building a 6NZ..Any suggestions?

Without adding fuel/tuning the ecm, you have no need of adding a bigger turbo.. it will just be very sluggish and hard to drive. you need more fuel to spin the 80mm wheel. A new manifold will help with air flow/response and keep the egts down a bit..
For more power you need more fuel. The turbo supports the fuel.
If you want a better turbo for the stock 550 file
People run the quad zero turbo non wastegated 14969880000 it's a 78mm with a 1.32 housing if I'm not mistaken..
Rule of thumb more fuel=more air
But I'm no expert lots of good info on the forum.. do a search on turbos for 6nz -

That’s some excellent information. I was asking on a Cat group recently, if running large injectors with a small file would give better fuel economy than running a big tune on stock injectors, assuming that both engines make the same power. It seems to me that the large injector combo would be better because the required fuel volume would be injected earlier in the combustion cycle, when the piston is closer to TDC by the higher flowing injectors. Kinda like advancing the injection timing. Never really got any responses off the group.
