That's 8700 spent on a system my trucks don't even have. The same 8700 wil rebuild TWO 12.7 engines. You've had good luck with yours and I hope it continues, but I think you are the minority on that.

And while you might think im blowing smoke up your skirt if you do a bit of research on pre egr series 60s, you will find that low 7s is part for the course. Obviously if you are up in bc running 140k lbs you ain't gonna get 7s but done here running legal weights in the lower 48 that's easy peasy.

X15 performance pretty sure, bull haulers ain't got time to screw around. No clue what he's running for fuel mileage but he's running 7 axles so probably 5.5. If I had good contract freight I'd maybe take a chance on a new Pete and keep the old crate around for a spare just in case, because I would get one that's a ##### just my luck.

The guy that I rent my spots from has a bull wagon and an older 900. Cummins. He says it's like 650HP to the axles. He's had it overhauled several times too to the tune of $30Kish.

Not much of a believer in luck.

On what? The fuel economy or the cost to rebuild the engine?

Both. And I wanna see you tear the head off and everything else on Saturday morning and have it running Sunday night.

What kind of cummins? A twin cam isx is pricey, but an n14 you couldn't spend 30 grand if you tried to. Heck remanned short blocks from Cummins are under 20k.

You said two for $8700. Rebuild in a weekend. I wanna see it. Just make a UTUBE video and post it.
