Is later_dude still driving commercial I wonder. He had a knack as a writer. Could be a good side gig.

 

Somewhere in the comments a guy who claims he knew the OP said he died. I believe the original post is only one he wrote. I agree, the thread should remain open. Any new driver researching a mega should know what they are getting into possibly. I realize it's crude, but if it helps another new guy out its worth keeping.

 

I doubt anybody is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to read it. Besides, there's a clickable link at the upper right of the post column that says "Unwatch Thread", click on it. Problem solved.

 

As for old threads and posts, I like to go back and read an old post, lets say from 2010 for example, from a rookie driver asking rookie questions. And I think to myself this driver would be a veteran now.........Or did he quit and disappear forever ? its a mystery to me. I like reading the 'Oldies'.

 

It’s good reference material for comedy relief. Just when you think you’re having a bad day reading about the OP’s misfortunes brings a good laugh (with tears included)! Fast forward 10 years later this thread is still putting us in stitches!! How many threads do that?

I'm sure this site is quite happy with this thread. Can you just imagine how many first time visitors get here from Google because of the title

 

Wow, what a sissy. Just because you hate it or are "offended " because you are sensitive, doesn't mean we all are. I think this thread is great.

 

I'm sure @G13Tomcat was just messing with us. He's one of the better guys on TTR, been here quite a while, and I know for sure he has a good sense of humor.
