Get the engine warmed up. I'm not 100% up on the on-road EPA regs but in the off-road world, they allow a 35 or 45 minute (can't remember the exact number) window from engine start to DEF dosing to allow thaw time. If it takes longer than that for it to start dosing, it'll throw inducement codes.

Best I could figure the air around the def tank and lines was close to -2 murican. Def freezes at 12 murican. Filled up and in about 450 miles the needle never moved. It finally came off of full about the time I called it quits. I guess running into a 25mph headwind all night kept it in the power enough to keep egts high enough to not have to regen.

Tank should be heated by engine coolant. Lines typically are heated as well, but by electricity.

DEF isn't used in the regen process, its supposed to dose the catalyst any time the engine is running, the DEF is thawed and the catalysts are up to the required temperature.

Enid, unfortunately... Been here for three-ish years, but we're ready to go back to Tennessee. I miss the greenery and hills. Flat and brown aren't my style. LOL

If a suppressor isn’t an option, the subsonic rounds won’t wreck your hearing.
