The EPA just finished accepting applications for the 2020 Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) National Grant. This grant is available to regional, state, or local agencies; tribal governments (or intertribal consortia) and native villages; or port authorities, which have jurisdiction over transportation or air quality.
Private fleet owners are not eligible to apply for DERA funding, but you may be able to benefit from a program implemented by a DERA grant recipient in your state.
For example, here in New Jersey the Port Authority of NY & NJ has the Truck Replacement Program (TRP) that can offer up to $25,000 towards the purchase of a new truck and which is partially funded by the EPA's DERA grant.
Trade in program for old rig?

I bet they would only give $18k tops. Anymore is buried into the new Truck price.Trade in price is ( probably) equal to 50-70% is wholesale auction price.I don’t know how they figure it, but the real money is terrible. They don’t do anything, unless there’s profit in it. Trade in price, less than half retail.Usually a third.I always make a deal, w/o the trade. On Cars, I throw the monkey wrench in afterwards. Making them take the car, basically. Only way to get real #s. They don’t like that. They prefer,”How much would you like your payment to be?” Give Me a break!! How much is the Vehicle?I can figure the pymt.myself. Lol. My daughter just bought a Jeep. I asked how much is the pymt? $301? Answer” Exactly!! LolCabinover101 Thanks this.

Lol!!! I always try to get a hat!!! They should pay you to wear it.Cabinover101 Thanks this.

It's a bit crowded on the 93 due to the injection pump and the econovance hooked to the pump. The 98-03 pre egr had more room due to unit injectors. Lemme see if i have a pic of the 99

Well i couldn't find the turbo side but it's much less cluttered than the PLN's. The driver side on both are identical. Looks cluttered with the 2 big fuel filters and the 3 oil filters but easily removable for when you need the room

Be curious how the n14 sits in a set forward axle truck.Rideandrepair, wore out and ChevyCam Thank this.

Same as a 12.7. There is about 10 inches from the rear of the head to the firewall. External breathers also means even less junk under the hood. Bur one major fall back to this freightliner. The hood us freaking heavy. My front cover is leaking slightly, and we all know a little leak looks like gallons pouring out once that fan kicks in and throws it every where. Should fix it, but I really dread pulling the hood. The radiator and cac will be easy, but that 500 lb hood is gonna be a chore to get lined back up right.wore out, ChevyCam, Cabinover101 and 1 other person Thank this.

I know the feeling. Took 3 of us to pull the hood off the parts truck. Soon as the supports came off it got heavy quick.
My front cover was leaking at the edge below the pulley. A hairline crack made it look like oil pump was leaking. Eventually ran the dye through it and ran a bead of black silicone. Honestly I should have swapped it when I did CAC and radiator. Nope common sense never stopped by that day and as I’m adding coolant did I realize that was my time to replace it. Add it to the list!spyder7723 Thanks this.
