They are interesting, typically as far as driver pay they are on the low end, long days, supv can they to be an ###, its a company where the enviroment is cover your own rear even at the cost of the ones you supervise. I left there because it was a very cutthroat company, I was a foreman in the Los Angeles area for WMI of Los Angeles, If you can something else in your area you would be well advised to move on, before you have a industrial injury.
Just my opinion. -
I posted in this thread earlier, but to comment on recent posts, WM does have excellent benefits. However as noted so many times in this thread by so many people, they are notorious for excessive rules. The problem with that is, they have so many rules, that rules begin to conflict each other. You cant go by one rule without violating another. Its somewhat designed that way so that, if they want to get ya.. they gottcha. They are somewhat that way so no matter what you do, they have a rule to protect the company.

Well stated.Exactly correct, I would be told at times to get rid of a driver, just come up with something, after a while I just had enough. I the construction service end my guys really worked hard every day, typically long hours covering roll-off routes and other stuff that just was not part of out department. Anyhow long time ago in a land far far away, thank God.

Does anyone know what all a "Driver Trainer" does at waste management and what the salary is?

I never heard of a driver trainer at WMI.
