Yeah, the more I deal with them, the less it seems like any type of mill. The guy knows his ####, he is all about really helping, and when I asked him if I could work on serpentine backing, which they don't normally do, because Prime includes it on their road test, I was told, he said to get find out exactly how they set it up and he would definitely work on it with me.

    Really cool guy.

And from what I understand, the 60,000 is total truck miles.

Yeah, I use to be an instructor in Fontana,Ca at a great school. There are at least 8 truck schools in Fontana, about half are $1000, 1 week schools, and are really pathetic. No classroom instruction, just a day cab junker in a dust bowl lot. :biggrin_25513:

It's 60k miles to the point that you can opt to go limited solo, or stay with your instructor to a total of 80k miles. At that point you upgrade to full A-seat qualified.

That being said, it goes very quickly. Our teams are running 5k + per week, and as busy as we are, I'd say 6k + per week is closer to it. Its a very comprehensive apprenticeship - you'll get a taste of everything from NYC to LA to heavy mountain grades at max GVW. Checkout Prime in the company DAC area... much more there.
