Hotshot and expedite are not the same thing. What you do I would call expedite but not hotshot.
Those guys that haul pipe and stuff like that and havn't got a clue are neither just wannabe's
True hotshot is a box of Hawker jet parts that have to be 1300 miles in 24 hrs or a line is down and can't get running without the bearing you have.
Expedite is we want it yesterday but today is allright.

There are people working at a fast food restaurant or as shelf stocker at a major retailer who could say the same thing. So, the distance your pee travels vs a CRE driver’s in a contest, really doesn’t need to be all that impressive in the big picture.

Try replacing the “I make more money per week than they make” with “I make more per hour than they make” - - and as a fast food worker or major retailer shelf stocker, you could dominate even more of them in a peeing contest.

The thing is, if that CRE driver that you out-peed happens to play it right, she or he could be driving for someone like Walmart or UPS in a few years. And they might have a rig just like yours sitting in their driveway, just to haul their boat or camper.

Those guys are just splitting hairs. Trucking is trucking whatever the freight is and whatever size truck is moving it. Same game and basically the same rules.
