Heck trains have left them parked without the brakes on.. Quebec had a bad one awhile back .

I've heard of drivers backing up close to the loading ramp, getting out to open the doors, and the truck rolling back and somehow pinning them against the dock.

I have. But being a 1999 even if it was an autoshift it would most likely be a 3 pedal. No way gravity on the gearshift or an electronic XY shifter will force an idling truck into gear. Even if it was an Alison, there's no way it'd drive thru the park brakes idling either.lovesthedrive, magoo68 and Chubby Fly Thank this.
