To put all of this into perspective, it was 11 weeks from the time I put in my application until I was hired at my job. And then another 11 months before I was hired full time.
And people wonder why I'm crazy.jtaran06 Thanks this. -
I'm good on them. They strict, threaten to write you up all the time, holidays at work, man GTFO lolLtlAnonymous Thanks this.

All these places suck in some way.Texas_hwy_287 and LtlAnonymous Thank this. -
What sucks for us is garbage trucks and sometimes dumb management. We Excel in being laid back and make good bank. Trade off I guessroadx27, jtaran06 and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Thanks for the tip for the interview outfit!
Update: I received the confirmation interview email when I opened my email. Its another good vibes!
I got another question tho, in the status of my application in the Estes website. Mine does still say it " applied " its not moving? Is this normal? How often they update the site regarding status of application?
But they are working on my background & mvr check , and friday would be my face to face interview. -
I'm gona tell him straight I wana be train for line haul as well for the future, becoming an extra board is a plus for me as my goal really is to make those big $ through line haul.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.

These LTL places must have hard time getting their own to cover west coast runs.
R+L and Estes have 3rd party left and right pulling freight. Yellow as well some times.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this. -
Hit up the gun boards Texas, I have never become a member of any, but I snoop around on them for gun info, of course you will come across the typical gun and parts debates, one guy will say oh these guys have the best lowers around, and shortly after that another poster will say no they are complete garbage, it may take a little time but usually by the post you can figure out the ones that know what there talking about and which ones don't, so many manufacturers build ARs and parts now that I couldn't even begin to have an opinion on what is good or bad, I am kind of in the same camp as jtaran06, for $700 if it throws lead down range and hardly has issues, then it's good in my book, doesn't matter to me who's name is on the side of the receiver.Texas_hwy_287 and TokyoJoe Thank this.

You probably already know this also, unless you really desire to build one yourself, there are plenty of manufactured ARs that you can easily get into brand new for $700, market is flooded with them despite the gun grabber non sense, which is good for us buyers, bad for dealers.Texas_hwy_287 Thanks this.
