I know theres places that rebuild them but from what I've heard they dont last long .
I know new ones are a about 1000.00.
Depending on where you are and run I'd go to the apu center in strafford mo...google it .
I recently had them work on my carrier for an electrical issue nobody else could fix .

Actually they are $1600 at a Carrier dealer. They are heavy too. I had to go buy a low profile floor jack at Harbor Freight.
Somebody posted a rebuild kit on this forum once. Had I known one existed I would have tried to rebuild mine first before replacing it.bzinger Thanks this. -

See if you can move the pulley up and down to see if bearings are bad. Never found anyone that could SUCCESSFULLY rebuild one of these. Usually best to buy a new one, $1500-$1600.bzinger Thanks this.

yes , it moves freely, and works fine, but only makes a lot of noises.

I have a comfortpro apu 6022. I have power at the motor but no power at the driver control panel does anyone have any ideals what could cause it
