I'm gonna expand on this and recommend US Legal Service's CDL Defender program. Last thing OP wants is a lawyer that doesn't understand the intricacies of CSA2010 deciding a seatbelt violation is a good alternative in his case, and I've personally kept those guys on retainer in the past. Only reason I stopped was because I didn't make enough at Western to continue paying for the plan, which says more about Western than it does about US LegalRideandrepair, D.Tibbitt, CK73 and 2 others Thank this.

I was about to suggest uslegal.net as well. $35 monthly with a setup fee. They used to get you a lawyer even if you sign up after getting the ticket. No deductible. Got mine dropped from 15 to 20 over to 5 to 10 over. Either way.. You really have to get a lawyer for this.. Or be unhirable for the most part IMO.Rideandrepair and Coffey Thank this.

Op find a good local trafic lawyer. LOCAL.
dunchues and jammer910Z Thank this. -
Us Legal does find a local lawyer in same county. You sign a waiver so the only way you have to go back is if it goes to trial..Rideandrepair Thanks this.

I would find a lawyer myself. Before calling to his office i would check his ratings... us legal may send to court first available lawyer who could be not a good one...Rideandrepair Thanks this.

The judge told me and my attorney that my ticket could not be changed from a speeding violation due to the Patriot Act. But it could be reduced to less than 15 mph....the judge changed it to 3 mph over the limit....and my lawyer went home with $500 in his pocket. This was in my personal vehicle, due to my inattention and driving while fatigued.Rideandrepair Thanks this.

NM judge told me to pay $300 to crimestoppers found. My ticket was dissmised under probation for two years... it was in 2012.Rideandrepair and Pumpkin Oval Head Thank this.

Well this is a perfect thread for me because I have no idea how fast is too fast; I was driving through some city on the interstate doing the posted 55 mph and after watching all the other big trucks fly by me and maybe one too many Red Bull’s later I hammered down with the rest of them; the Rand McNally gps my trainer has goes into constant stroke mode if you do 6 mph over lol so, how fast is too fast? City driving, construction zone (middle of the night and no workers?), interstate, etc
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
It’s pretty hilarious I can’t do 15 over in most circumstances, anyway, truck is governed at 65Rideandrepair and rachi Thank this.
