I got a ticket for 11 hour driving violation. How bad is it for the license? It's in north Dakota.

It's probably 10CSA points. First year multiplier is 3, so it's 30 CSA points this year.

It won't go on your actual DMV printout from the state.

It will go on your PSP for 3 years.

" Bailiff, whap his PP",,I'm sorry, what a stupid thing to worry about. Years ago, all we had to worry about was if the coops were open or where the portables were.. I don't know how you guys do it today.

How much over did you go on your hours? I went over my 11 limit like 3 weeks ago by about 30 seconds. lol

I was in a crowded FJ lot overnight trying to park somewhere when a truck stopped in the middle of the isle in front of me to swap drivers. It kicks me into drive now at 5mph and I forgot.

Had one guy drove with him for 1 week and he drove all the way to the terminal and went like 2-3 hours over his time! I told him to wake me up his final hour. He didn't see anything wrong with it. I was like, dude, that is not OK. He said, don't worry about it.

Yes please let us know how much you went over your 11... Would be good to know how anal some DOT are getting. I've gone over by a few mins (less than 10 mins) a couple of times, myself.

Since I see no comment about being placed out of service (HOS). I am assuming your recap got looked at. Once that last minute expired a driver is in violation. This is always going to be a danger and why a driver should use the PC (if available) if they are in a tight place. In this case there is a ticket to pay and if an inspection was also turned in there will be points assessed. However as I understand it an HOS violation is not going to show up on the MVR. If you want to get a peek at the sins a CDL holder need worry about go look at 383.51 there are several charts.

I was looked at for a potential 70 violation once. It's fortunate I had enough time to go on duty for what we call a level two that morning.

I have been oos once for busting a daily hours of driving. I think twas about a 250 fine. I paid it and did not hear anymore about it. Cost of doing business in those days.
