Hi all got a 12.7 that wouldn’t fire up this morning. Already changed fuel pump, fuel filter, both srs and trs timing sensors aswell as ecm. Truck will crank but won’t start. Everything checks out with both ecms and dddl. Will run with starting fluid. This has got me puzzled as to why it won’t start.

    It’s a 1997 fld120. Already went through a set of batteries

I have a few spare ecms for all my trucks. I know ecms to go bad so I swapped ecm out with another working unit thinking that was the issue. But it’s not

There's just not much there. I know you said ECM fuses were good. But I've heard that many times, only to find problems with ECM fuse wiring.

There's really not much to go wrong. You mentioned DDL. If you have that, look for SRS Received after cranking. All good there, pull the return fuel line and run into a bucket. See if return fuel is aerated.

How long has the truck been sitting? Did it die going down the road? Just shut off and tried to restart? And how about the gauge sweep?

    Last Call Thanks this.
