Going down the road, my left headlight kept flickering. Eventually it went off and I got a headlamp fault. I try to use my bright lights and I lost all lights (right headlight, markers, turn signals, brake lights) also it gave me a circuit failure on the dash. So far we have ruled out the chassis node, and the CECU. Truck has been in shop for 5 days. All harnesses have been updated and no plugs are burn up. Myself and the mechanics are at a loss. Can anyone help? I’m down to try anything I need some headlights!

I know this will sound elementary but did the pigtail that ties in Che’s out? Did it come on if you “shook” the harness? I’ve got some time so I can see what I can find out

along the left frame rail at rear motor mount you will find a connector for the hood harness, the ground wire will melt inside the connector and the lights go out. cut the wire from the connector and splice it together. if you have an MX engine the connector is between the frame and the starter you can get to the connector
without pulling the starter (kinda sorta)
make sure all battery terminals are tight and none of the grounds or any wires for that matter are burnt -
Mechanic just called. He got them working. There is an ignition wire behind the cecu, that wakes up the chassis node. That wire was broke. All is good and lights are burning.
Mikeysmezz and BoxCarKidd Thank this.
