Just bought this Pete and was wondering if anyone seen this gauge before. Is it rare or common. My mph and odometer arm does not move and was wondering how to fix it? Thanks in advance. upload_2019-8-3_23-24-54.jpeg

Without a picture there is nothing to examine.

You are literally asking about a truck that two generations of current truckers know absolutely nothing about.

Not knowledgeable enough about it to give any advice to be honest. I see it’s make in Germany, may even be something a man has to send off to fix....?

@82 pete is this an electronic setup? I’m sure it is.

Oxbow, wore out and 062 Thank this.

Argo tach/speedo graph. See if you can open the face to put a chart inside. It was a gauge that would manually record rpm/mph/time on a circular paper chart. You would put a new chart in every day.

Exactly right. I doubt that you can get charts for it any more. It should hinge at the bottom and there should be a key slot in the top. When we used them we retro-fitted a latch at the top so it didn't need a key.
We ran them for a couple of years but went back to the regular speed-o-graph because they weren't accurate.

speedyk, Oxbow and 062 Thank this.

There are probably a lot of drivers...drivers who have spent enough time on the road....who know what that thing is.

A quick google search shows that you can still buy complete units with charts.

    Oxbow and REO6205 Thank this.

Thanks for the advise guys. And yes it has a key on top and hinges. And oldschooler I will have to look at it closer but believe it is not electronic.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
