My 2005 Columbia has power going to the ac compressor all the time even with the switch off. Have even removed all fuses and relay's, unhooked climate control.

I've got an '05 Columbia too- sounds like you have chafed wiring- a wire with 12 volts of energy in it has rubbed through the sheathing and is energizing your compressor clutch. Chafed wires are common on this truck.

Just a thought- your engine and trans might not be grounding any more because of corrosion- try making a sturdy ground wire from the compressor clutch to the frame or directly to the negative post on the batts.
