Hey I’m still having the same issues and I didn’t want to just throw parts at it. When your triangle was on was in coming on during heavy loads are it stayed on? Here’s a picture of mines but it just comes on during heavy hauling mainly.
Also can anyone confirm if these are on correctly. Nothing was cracked or broken when I checked today so I thought that maybe I could also have them on the wrong tubes...
Most of those sensors have "HI" engraved in the plastic on one side. This is the high pressure port, or where the inlet tube should go. On yours, the inlet tube is the bottom, or long tube.
Still nothing new yet about my truck. When the problem is fixed “fingers crossed” I’ll definitely log in to let others know what’s going on. I’m getting same faults which is 1993 I’m thinking now about changing my back pressure sensor.
After a week of being down at the international dealer they changed a sensor on the exhaust and they also did wiring from ecm to exchast because of bad buds with wiring. They finally got the truck to regen. After $1,200 dollars later the stop egine light is back but now it’s not derating. I thought international would find the issue bur they didn’t. They found the issue with it not actively regening hopefully. No active codes at all and the truck runs good but the stop light is annoying. Still searching for answers with this if anyone else has fixed there problem..
Sorry I thought that I answered you. It’s not the same 1993 code it’s the code for the crankcase filter which I believe is 5553, but I have a maintenance free filter & brand new sensor. Once that triangle comes on 90% of the time the stop engine comes on but I’m still able to drive. I was shut down last week because my truck wasn’t actively regening international fixed that wiring problem. Now I’m still having the same issues that I really wanted them to find which is the stop engine warning.
Check to make sure the road draft tube is clear of obstructions. You might have to take it complete off at the filter end and blow compressed air through it to make sure it is clear.
