Ok guys i have a new prostar with 18171 miles on the isx 455. Yesterday while climbing a hill all of my "auxillary" electrical components (12volt plugs and sleeper lights) went off... would immediately assume an issue with the low voltage disconnect right? but at the same time the wipers came on and engine brake indicator started flashing. First time it lasted about 10 minutes during that time the voltage never dropped below 13.7... second time it lasted 8 minutes. Now it has happened again and wont stop. I have pulled the wiper relay so at least i can go down the road without that annoyance but being saturday i cant get into a shop until Monday? I have disconnected the power wires from the batteries to try and reset but it is still happening... Any Ideas?

You have pretty much done all you can do. That truck should still be under warranty. Take it in to have it looked at. These trucks are completely computer controlled, and without a laptop and International software there is nothing more you can do. I know by lots of experience that International is famous for building a truck with 4' of distance between electrical parts and installing only 3'11" if wiring LOL! I have seen many times plugs and ground adapters that literally get pulled apart simply because they are tied down too tightly. All the related connections to your symptoms seem to be Body Controller related. There is a computer modual that mounts to the side of the cab right next to the clutch pedal. The panel that covers most of it is also a foot rest next to the clutch pedal. There are connectors all over the truck. With several circuits going goofy you can assume a bad ground too. International uses ground adaptors. You need to access to International wire diagrams to be able to find all of them. Probably what happened is the cab/frame had a normal engine torque twist that pulled out a connector or a wire from a connecter that has been stressed since it was built. If I were you, I wouldn't waste my time and just wait until Monday, sorry!
