2012 Freightliner cascadia has no diff lock

    Hey i recently purchased a 2012 cascadia and i just now realized it has no diff lock switch. is it something i can put on. We aren’t using it yet but it is necessary for the environment that we drive in. Thank you any input would help

    If it has 2 rear ends there's a switch somewhere on the dash.

    There is nothing only 5th wheel slide and suspension. The only thing similar is the atc switch buts thats just traction control. And yes it does have dual drive axles which is why im confused as to why it doesn’t have a switch

    You got screwed. Not all trucks are built with diff locks. you should have asked if you didn't see it before you bought it if it was built as a 6 by 4 drive configuration or a 6 by to drive configuration.

    The newer trucks we run have both. ATC is a pain that seems to cause more problems than it solves.

    The manual says it should come standard i guess they really did pork me oh well ill see what i can figure out with a local shop thanks guys

    #### I didn’t even realize trucks came without diff lock. I’m guessing it also has 40 rear ends as it’s clearly not designed for any serious hauling.

    @Jmeza0193 what axles you have? Meritor or Detroit ?
