2012 Freightliner cascadia has no diff lock

    How can i tell? It has stamped on top “9.5” and “M”

    But the tag says axle alliance co not sure if they are the manufactures?

    Open the glow box. there is a label there. You can see axle's brand and model number.

    Did you mean inter-axle differential lock (also known as power divider... between the diffs), or differential locks (side-to-side on each axle)? I've never seen a truck without the former and haven't seen a Cascadia with the latter (although they're available, rare is the mega/fleet that is going to spec them). For sure if you needed diff locks, that should have been an obvious deficiency before purchase, given how uncommon they are in OTR trucks (especially in the lower 48).

    70% of Detroit Diesel axles don't have diff lock. If Cascadia has Meritor axles it will have diff lock.
