2012 International Pro star DEF PROBLEMS

A 2012 international pro star [f mine started running rough after the DEF gauge went past full until the needle is in the 6 o'clock position, and the ref light came on. What will cause this?

Lots can cause that, corroded fuse, corroded wire, rubbed through wire, failed DEF module and so on. There isn't one thing that I can easily point you to. A laptop to check for codes is the first tool I grab.
