If you think this is normal or not dangerous why did you post this?????
No not normal and YES dangerous with out even thinking about it!

If that shop cant find the issue or fix it take it to another shop. Don't know if the truck has disc or drum up front, drum with S cam? but would have them throw new pads/shoes and turn the rotors/drums and check and maybe change the hard ware (springs/clips/tec.) as a start.

Lots of thinks can clunk, the whole front-end needs to be checked. Loose U-bolts, worn spring/shackle bushings, S-cam/bushings would be the 1st things I would check if you're feeling a tug in the wheel.

An clunk that causes the truck to swerve is NOT normal.

Non grease able spring bushings is what caused similar issue on a 2009 cascadia I drove .. As it got worse it would do it occasionally turning slowly or backing into a dock .. If you have the option I'd try a non Ryder shop for a second opinion
