    Is it possible to test the coolant level sensor with an ohm/volt meter?

    Had to shut down with eng and stop eng lights on.
    Got the following codes:
    ECU 0
    SPN 111
    FAIL 01

    That sensor is a magnetic switch. Yes you can test it by multimeter.

    You can just unplug it to get you home if the coolant level is actually okay.
    You'll still get the yellow check engine light, but no shutdown.
