thanks guys. this truck will be primarily be driven locally for police towing 1 car on bed and towing 1 behind. the trucks i currently have 215 hp international dt466 automatic. i average probally 28000 miles per year. you still think 325hp. if so do think at 260 it would be under powered or for resale value thanks again.

Sorry, I thought you were buying a truck for a different type of operation. I'll keep quiet now.

We Currently Have a FL70 4 Car Carrier with a 230HP Cummins. Pulls Great with that weight @ 46K, Allison MD3060 with 4.44 Gear ratio. The thing with little trucks is the Gearing, Do you want road gears or city gears that will make a world of difference

My only thought would be are you sure you want to go 22.5's? Just thinking that would raise the bed height and possibly cause bumpers on cars to drag. Not sure if you do regular tow jobs (break downs etc)
It's been since the early 90's that I towed cars though so I'm guessing a good bit has changed since then.
